Valérie Ducret
Founder & Scientific Lead
Valérie is a biomedical scientist and health data specialist with more than five years of experience in biotechnology and AI-driven medical research.
She brings expertise in biomedical data analysis, genomics, multi-omics, machine learning, and translational research. After completing a PhD in Life Sciences and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular biology at the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle in Paris, she worked in biotechnology companies including Pharnext and Owkin, where she contributed to genomic analyses, biomarker-oriented research, multimodal cancer projects, survival prediction, and clinical trial optimization.
Through Humanity Science Studio, she aims to connect rigorous science, responsible technology, and real-world health needs — building projects that help detect earlier what undermines health and transform scientific knowledge into useful, preventive, and human-centered tools.

Cécile Chauvot
Certified Sophrologist (RNCP)
A sophrologist by profession, Cécile practiced for seven years in Singapore, where she founded a multidisciplinary wellness center, before returning to Paris. She supports individuals and corporate teams, in her practice and remotely, on stress, overload, and professional burnout.
She brings to kairos her understanding of embodied experience, recovery, and the concrete needs of people whose resources are depleted.

Sonakshi Gupta
PhD candidate in developmental and educational psychology
A neuroscience graduate of ENS-PSL and CIFRE PhD candidate at Université Lumière Lyon 2, Sonakshi has designed and deployed impact evaluation strategies for educational programs and corporate foundations, reaching more than a thousand beneficiaries.
She brings to kairos her rigor in mixed methods, psychometrics, and impact evaluation, to measure what the tool really changes for people.

Xavier Briffault
Researcher in social sciences and epistemology of mental health, CNRS (Cermes3)
A PhD in computer science and former artificial intelligence researcher, Xavier has worked for more than twenty years on mental health: depression, suicide prevention, psychotherapies, evaluation of intervention effectiveness, and digital tools in psychiatry.
He advises kairos on ethics and rigor in the use of AI in mental health.
Vassili Soumelis
Physician-immunologist, Chief Medical Officer at ArcaScience
A hematologist by training, Vassili led a laboratory at Institut Curie, then served as professor of immunology at Université Paris Cité and Hôpital Saint-Louis, where he headed the Inserm human immunology unit. Since 2022, he has applied this expertise to AI in health, first at Owkin and then at ArcaScience.
He advises kairos on scientific evaluation and the real-world impact of kairos for its users.
